My reproduction Titanic life belts are machine and hand stitched. There are only a dozen remaining Titanic life belts known to exist. This life belt represents the ones donned by passengers of the Titanic.
While not all of the recovered life belts have ink markings. Ink markings can be seen on a life belt worn by Titanic survivor Mabel Francatelli.(See last photos) The lifebelts without ink markings were most likely faded away over the years. My replica life belts are marked with the same markings. The specifications used come from one of the recovered Titanic life belts. The life belt used is on display at the Merseyside Maritime Museum Liverpool, UK. Each are made to order, and produced in limited quantities.
